Our Hall-Thruster Satellite Propulsion, EPS®X00, takes benefit of Safran’s long experience with electric propulsion to propose a very efficient product. EPS®X00 was designed to address the specific requirements inherent in the “New Space” market environment. With a lifespan exceeding 5,000 hours and very high specific impulse, the our Hall-Thruster Satellite Propulsion, EPS®X00, is an extremely versatile thruster, making it ideal for all types of applications in low Earth orbit (LEO).

Several innovations have been incorporated in the discharge chamber and magnetic circuit designs to propose competitive and reliable solutions while keeping a high-performance level. It can be delivered as part of an electric propulsion subsystem, including Power Processing Unit and Propellant Management System.
