Ka-Band High-Data-Rate Transmitter
Our Ka-band Transmitter dedicated to cube, nano and micro satellites.
It especially meets the expressed demand from Satellite Operators to increase data throughput. It comes as the perfect solution expected by Satellite Operators to move from the over congested X-Band to the Ka-Band that authorizes more flexibility and more bandwidth capacity.
Our Ka-band Transmitter's design is perfectly adapted to New Space programs, where cost effectiveness, performances and reliability are success key factors.
The N-KaLLISTO modulator, relies on a proven DVB-S2 based core engine with QPSK, 8PSK, 16-APSK and 32-APSK modulation schemes enabling data rates up to 1 Gbps. The transmitter also complies with DVB-S2X and CCSDS standards. Furthermore, it provides the maximum flexibility and transmission efficiency thanks to DVB-S2 VCM (Variable Coding and Modulation) and autonomous ACM (Adaptive Coding and Modulation). One key feature is the capability to change and adapt the transmission parameters dynamically and in-flight regarding link budget conditions.
Our Ka-band Transmitter design inherits from Safran skills and flight heritage acquired for more than 20 years in the domain of RF communication design for Space.
