Safran DSI Showcases Growth, Innovations and US Partnerships at Paris Air Show

Safran DSI at the 2025 Paris Air Show: Showcasing Growth, Innovation, and U.S. Partnerships
Safran DSI leveraged our presence at the 2025 Paris Air Show, one of the world’s premier aerospace and defense events, to advance our strategic vision, strengthen key partnerships, and showcase the technologies powering the next phase of our expanding footprint in U.S. defense manufacturing and innovation. With thousands of global stakeholders in attendance, the show showcased Safran’s full technology ecosystem from aircraft engines and electric propulsion to optronics, Geospatial AI, and space solutions.
A Vision for U.S. Expansion
President & CEO Joseph Bogosian, joined by Safran DSI’s business unit presidents, led a presentation titled “Tomorrow’s Technologies for Today’s Challenges: Partnering with Safran DSI to Build the Future of U.S. Defense and Space” at the USA Partnership Pavilion. The session highlighted how our U.S. operations support domestic and global strategies through American-based manufacturing, defense-focused innovation, and alignment with DoD priorities.
Throughout the week, Safran DSI held high‑level meetings with leaders including Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin, Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, multiple DoD branches, state and local economic development officials, and top‑tier U.S. defense contractors. These discussions reinforced relationships of critical importance to Safran DSI’s commitment to delivering technologies that are made in the U.S.A., MOSA‑ready (Modular Open Systems Architecture), speed‑oriented (rapid RFI responses, testing, prototyping, and production), and both scalable and affordable.
These factors are now essential in DoD acquisitions, especially for modernization across all domains. By aligning with them, Safran DSI strengthens our role as a trusted partner to the Pentagon and prime contractors.
BlackNaute Unveiled
BlackNaute™ is Safran’s latest embedded Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) system, designed for advanced military platforms operating in GPS-denied or contested environments. This a growing concern for the U.S. military as threats to satellite-based navigation increase. Introduced at the Paris Air Show alongside the Skylight GNSS receiver, BlackNaute addresses critical needs across all domains: land, air, sea, and space.
U.S. Growth and Regional Partnerships
DSI’s leadership met with Colorado’s Office of Economic Development and International Trade to highlight our investment in the state, home to our new U.S. Space Hub for small satellite propulsion.
They also spoke with officials from Huntsville, Alabama and other states across the country to explore expanded manufacturing in support of U.S. defense and space programs.
Why It Matters
Safran DSI’s presence at the 2025 Paris Air Show showcased the full breadth and depth of our technological capabilities, engaging new mission partners, and advancing growth and innovation across every front.
